The Problems：
- The door should be automatically controlled by coded microchip to open, lock and even reset after our cat passes it. The most difficult part for this function is not IC or microchip technique but the precision and multi-functional mechanism. What’ more, this kind of mechanism should be simulated and pre-tested by computer on Yield Strength, Heat Distortion and Mold Flow etc.
- On top of the smart auto opening and locking system, the door shall bear 7KGS impact force, without breaking the door and latches.
The solutions ：
- Normally, we should have used complex soft wares such as Anasys, Mechanica, Mechanism, Animation, and MPA/MPIT for initial analysis. However, we skipped these and brought in advanced Pro-E software to make a simulated mechanism, which can be simply tested and performed as a real one.
- Test breaking force by Pro-E; Choose AS material for the door.

How to Inspect ：
We make prototypes and test them ahead ,in simulant environment (in and out, breaking etc) in our lab.
Techniques used:
Yield strength analysis, heat distortion analysis, mechanical kinematics, mold flow analysis, and electromagnetism etc.
